Mosquito Bites

Drag sideways to guide a mosquito group along a tabletop track. Compare the arithmetic gates and choose the route that increases your group.

ARITHMETIC GATE ROUTE

Choose a gate before the group reaches it

The linked Mosquito Bites version starts on a striped tabletop track with a mosquito, a horizontal movement hint, and pairs of gates labelled with arithmetic operations. It is a runner about steering and group size. It does not present the stand-alone number-answer quiz or stealth swatting loop described in the older guide.

Start on the clear track area

Drag horizontally on the lower clear part of the track to start moving and shift sideways. The Number and Award cards on the opening screen are optional reward controls, separate from steering. If you open one by mistake, use Give up to return without choosing its video reward.

Compare results, not just the printed number

Read the operator on each gate. A +10 gate adds ten, while a ×2 gate doubles the number you already have. For example, doubling a group of 11 gives 22, while adding 10 gives 21. This comparison is more useful than always choosing the largest printed digit.

Set your side before the gate arrives

Keep the group aligned with the gate you chose as it approaches. Use a short sideways movement rather than waiting until the dividing post is beside the group. Look at the next pair while there is still room to change sides.

Track the current group number

The running scene shows a number under the mosquitoes. Use that current value when comparing the next operations; an early addition can change which multiplication is useful later. Recalculate at the next pair instead of repeating the previous left or right choice.

Separate navigation from upgrades

Video icons mark optional reward paths. They are not left and right steering buttons. For a first attempt, use the clear track, read the gates, and watch how the group number changes before exploring reward or shop screens.

Questions before your next attempt

Do I tap a numerical answer?

This version places arithmetic operations on gates ahead of a running mosquito group. Drag sideways to choose a gate; there is no stand-alone answer pad in the observed opening.

Is multiplication always the better gate?

Compare both results using your current group size. With one mosquito, +10 gives 11 and ×2 gives 2; with 11 mosquitoes, ×2 gives 22 and +10 gives 21.

How do I close an optional reward prompt?

Choose Give up to return to the track without selecting the video-marked Receive option.
