SWAP AND CONNECT
Build the route with swaps, not rotations
Plumber Pipe presents a board of straight and curved pipe sections. Your goal is to connect the blue water inlet to the exit pipe marked with an arrow. Pick up a section and drag it onto another square: the two pieces exchange positions while keeping their orientation. The water can start travelling while gaps remain, so this is a routing puzzle with pressure to finish the connection.
Read both endpoints before you begin
At the title screen, select the valve, read the How to Play panels, then select Begin. On the board, locate the blue inlet and the arrow marking the exit. Their positions can change on a new board. Work out which sides of the neighbouring squares must connect before making your first swap.
Drag from one square onto another
Hold the pointer on a pipe, drag to the square you want, and release. A click does not turn a corner into a different orientation. Select an already suitable straight or curved section elsewhere on the board and exchange it into your route. Check both affected squares, because one swap changes two positions.
Prioritise the next section the water will reach
Watch the blue water as it enters the route. It does not wait for you to finish the entire line. Complete the next connection before spending time on a distant part of the board, then extend toward the exit. An opening must face the neighbouring pipe opening; touching squares alone do not form a working connection.
Read special tiles in the tutorial
The How to Play panels identify special tiles on the board. Inspect those instructions before using a question-mark or ribbed tile in a route. Do not assume a tile is a normal straight pipe from its position alone. Start with the visible pipe openings when choosing a dependable connection.
Use a failed board to change your next approach
A disconnected attempt can end at the BestScore screen. Select its valve to start again; a new attempt may present a different layout and return to the tutorial. Identify the new inlet and exit instead of repeating the previous board from memory. If dragging does not respond, click inside the game once and retry the same short exchange.
Questions before your next attempt
Can I rotate a pipe?
The current game uses swaps. Drag a pipe onto another square to exchange the two pieces; their orientations stay the same. Find a section with the openings you need rather than clicking repeatedly to rotate it.
Does water wait until I finish the whole route?
No. Water can enter a partly built route and the attempt can fail while gaps remain. Watch the inlet and prioritise the next connection the water will reach.
How do I restart after a failed attempt?
Select the valve on the BestScore screen. Read the new board and its tutorial before selecting Begin; the layout may differ from the attempt that just ended.
